A cult Dalston bakery and one of the best pre-match breakfasts in east London. Potato sourdough, sell-out morning buns and doorstop focaccia sandwiches, baked in-house at the original Abbot Street site.
The spot
The Dusty Knuckle started in a shipping container in Dalston and is now famous across London for its potato sourdough, morning bun and focaccia sandwiches. It is also a social enterprise, training and employing young people who have struggled to find work, and it won a King's Award for Enterprise in 2025. The original site at Abbot Street Car Park in Dalston (E8) is a short walk to Dalston Junction or Dalston Kingsland for the Overground straight to Stratford and the London Stadium.
