A quiet memorial garden on the site of West Ham's former home in Upton Park, roughly 2.5 miles from the London Stadium.
The spot
The Boleyn Ground stood here from 1904 to 2016. Upton Gardens is the housing development that replaced it, and inside that development sits a small memorial garden created by fans in 2001 and reopened publicly with West Ham and Barratt London in 2023. It faces Green Street on the footprint of the old pitch. Plaques and benches remember supporters who never missed a game.
Best moment to visit
Heads up: this is not a matchday-logistics stop. Do not try to squeeze it in before kick-off at the London Stadium.

Go on a non-matchday if you can. It is a residential development and the memorial reads properly when it is quiet.
A pilgrimage for anyone with West Ham history in the family. Treat it as its own trip, not a pre-match stop.
